BT Suk 5b(12) : בבבל קורין לינוקא רביא  in Babylonia they call a small child a r.. BT Hag 13b(37) : כרביא שכן בבבל קורין לינוקא רביא  'like a boy,' since a child in Babylonia is called r.. PJ Gen32:23 : חדסרי ריבוי  his eleven youngsters. (a) young officer (?)  OfAEg. TAD C1.1(Ahiqar) .56 : נבוסמסכן רביא  PN the young officer. (b) young animal  LJLA.

The multiple examples of rby in the OfA Ahiqar text describing Nabusumiskun may better be interpreted simply as Akkadian rabû, "official;" see AIOA 87.
