BTŠvu 46b(22) : איניש דמהימן הוא  a person who is trustworthy. (b) + ܐ̄ܢܵܐ : I am permitted  Syr. ICor9:17 : ܡܗܲܝܡܲܢ ܐ̱ܢܵܐ . (b) trustee  Syr. 2  believer  CPA, Syr, JBA. P Acts16:1 : ܚܕܼܵܐ ܡܗܲܝܡܲܢܬܿܵܐ . BTŠab 97a(10) : וגליא קמי קודשא בריך הוא דהוו מהימני  it is clear to God that they were believers.

3  as an interjection: by faith! (for Hebrew נאם)  Sam. SamTgJ Gen22:16 : בי אשתבעת מהימן יהוה .

4  deposit  Sam.

Some unvocalized forms in the sense "believer" may also be interpreted as active participles instead, and they are so separated by some lexicographers.
