lqdm (li/uqŭdām) prep. in front of; towards the front of

JLA לִקדָם +pl. suffixes; CPA alone ܠܘܩܕܡ , with pron. suffixes ܠܩܘܕܡܝ and ܠܘܩܘܕܡ ; JPA with pron. suffixes usually without internal waw. In both Palestinian dialects, taking both sg. and pl. suffix forms.

1 in front of, before JLAtg, Gal, PTA, CPA, Sam, Man, LJLA. --(a) in space (usually with verbs of motion) . --(b) in time LJLA.
