OA, OfA bˀyš; CPA distinguishes between the spellings with and without aleph, with the former reserved for the meaning "sick". What difference in pronunciation may have existed is not clear, but one normally assumes the former is bisyllabic as opposed to this form; cf. bˀyš #2 adj.
