In LJLA the plural is regularly written טוורין (presumably ṭawrīn and the singular forms (including the construct) are also often written with double waw; a similar phonology reflected in the regular Sam spelling טבר

Pl. ˀăḇāhān, ˀăḇāhāṯā; Syr. ܐܒ̈ܗܬܐ ; w. pro. suffs.: ˀăḇū-. A common LJLA form shows imālā: איבא . In CPA some forms written with ܧ instead of ܒ .
At Mk 14:36( [ed. Kiraz), etc., the form ܐܲܒܒܿܵܐ is a transcription of the Greek.
