Syr. ܐ̄ܢܵܫܵܐ but often in the absolute in the meaning "someone"; JLAmb, LJLA abs. often אינש (see discussion s.v. ˀynyš) [Note that in TgPsJon all forms are spelled with אי , but not so in other LJLA texts.]

gbr, gbrˀ (gḇar, gaḇrā/guḇrā) n.m. man

pl. גוברין from BA on; emph. also גוברא in JPA, JPAtg, JBA, and LJLA. In Syriac, however, the pl. emph. is always ܓܲܒܪܸ̈ܐ ; in JPAtg any of גַבְרַיָּא ,גָבְרַיָּא , or גוּבְרַיָּא
