The Syriac Text_ (Williams & Norgate, London/Edinburgh): 1869. Wright's text
is based primarily on British Museum Additional MS 17182, with some readings
and punctuation taken from B.M. Add. MS 14619. The only readings from Wright's
critical apparatus which are included below (as in-line variants) are those
which are judged (contra Wright) to be the preferred readings in the edition
of D. Ioannes Parisot, "Aphraatis sapientis persae demonstrationes," in
_Patrologia Syriaca_, ed. R. Graffin (Firmin-Didot, Paris), Vols. 1-2:
1894-1907. Variants which both Wright and Parisot judge to be the inferior
readings have not been encoded.
