To use these fonts:
A) Download them: Right Click on the following links and choose "save target" from the pop up menu.
B) Install them under Windows as you would any new font: i.e., go to Start-Settings-Control Panel-Fonts, and choose "install new fonts" from the File menu. Navigate to the directory where you saved the downloaded fonts and install them. You may use the installed fonts in any of your programs - but be sure to restart your browser after you have installed them.
Transliteration Font: CalSemitic
Jewish Aramaic Font: WebHebrew AD
Syriac Font: SPEdessa
SYRIAC UNICODE: Those fortunate to have an XP class computer or newer should avail themselves of the wonderful Syriac Unicode fonts of the "Meltho" system and choose the appropriate radio button on the text select screen. For access to Meltho visit: BethMardutho.org. Please pay attention to the user manual that comes with the fonts if you have problems. Currently Netscape 7.0 tends to interpret numerals as Arabic digits, while IE treats them correctly.
HEBREW UNICODE: Hebrew alphabet text-browsing is currently done using built-in Hebrew coding of your operating system (rather than using WebHebrew), so make sure you have Hebrew support loaded.
